Last crazy #macro from the #GrandSeiko SGBR027 for today! Pushing beyond the limits of the focus stacking software here. Note the artefacts around the spring. Would take hours to clean that up if I were thinking of printing this (which I’m not!).
To be honest, the movement is not really where the thrill of collecting #GrandSeiko is for me. This of course is never going to challenging #Dufour or #Voutilainen! But it’s still fun to get in close and have a good nose around 🙂 Crop from a 36 image focus stack. Each original image has less than a 200 micron depth of field.
So I know it’s no longer #MacroMonday, but since my recently acquired #GrandSeiko SBGR027 was still set up for shooting, I thought it might be fun to go in a little closer…
Just loved the reflection of the “BAR” here. Had no idea about it whilst taking the shot 🙂 Another #MacroMonday crop detail from the #GrandSeiko #Wako limited edition SBGR027.
A #MacroMonday detail crop from my previous post. The movement of the #GrandSeiko SBGR027. 12 image focus stack.
Finally got around to shooting the movement side of the #GrandSeiko #SBGR027. Full frame 80 megapixel shot from the Phase One IQ3 80 on the CAPCam. Up next, a couple of #MacroMonday details from this shot!
The #GrandSeiko #9S55 movement powers the SBGR027. So given that fact, who can tell me what the exposure time was on this shot? #noflash #nofilter 😜
This is the #GrandSeiko SBGR027. A limited edition of just 30 pieces for the #Wako department store in #Ginza, #Tokyo that is owned by #Seiko. I am very interested in acquiring all Grand Seiko Wako limited editions. If you have any for sale, please do not hesitate to get in contact! And if you have the #SBGW021, I will fly anywhere in the world to purchase it. (But first, please buy my #FPJourne and/or #MBandF!)
So the reason I’m selling off most of my existing collection? Here’s a clue…
I’ve always thought the placement of the hyphen to be a little odd, but I guess #Rolex know what they’re doing!
