Finally got around to shooting the movement side of the #GrandSeiko #SBGR027. Full frame 80 megapixel shot from the Phase One IQ3 80 on the CAPCam. Up next, a couple of #MacroMonday details from this shot!
The #GrandSeiko #9S55 movement powers the SBGR027. So given that fact, who can tell me what the exposure time was on this shot? #noflash #nofilter 😜
This is the #GrandSeiko SBGR027. A limited edition of just 30 pieces for the #Wako department store in #Ginza, #Tokyo that is owned by #Seiko. I am very interested in acquiring all Grand Seiko Wako limited editions. If you have any for sale, please do not hesitate to get in contact! And if you have the #SBGW021, I will fly anywhere in the world to purchase it. (But first, please buy my #FPJourne and/or #MBandF!)
So the reason I’m selling off most of my existing collection? Here’s a clue…
One more shot of the #GrandSeiko SBGR027 to end the day with. How beautiful is this watch? Consider myself very fortunate to have picked up one of the only 30 pieces of this #Wako limited edition from 2004. #Seiko #Ginza #Tokyo #Japan
I’m not sure what the dial of the Grand #Seiko SBGR027 is made from, but it has an enamel-like quality to it. Just love this watch!
Profile shot of the Grand #Seiko SBGR027 #Wako limited edition.
I think it quite revealing that based on the macro shots, there were guesses of this being a #PatekPhilippe or #LaurentFerrier. The #GrandSeiko SBGR027. A limited edition from 2004 of just 30 pieces for the #Wako department store in #Ginza, #Tokyo.
The first of what I hope will be many Grand #Seiko additions to my collection in 2016!
Ok. I knew this one would be challenging. So let’s zoom out a little. What do you think of that then?! #namethatwatch
Ok. So I’ve done a few “name that watch” challenges in the past. I think this one might prove a little more difficult.
But oh my goodness. What a watch this one is!
So – name that watch!
