About a week ago I posted some shots of the Grand #Seiko 6246-9001. Here’s it’s companion, the 6245-9000. The difference between the two is that the 6245 doesn’t have a day indicator. A couple of warts-and-all detail shots to follow! #GrandSeiko
That escalated quickly. #GrandSeiko #Seiko #SOTC #GSWednesday
Another detail from the #GrandSeiko #62GS 6246-9001 that I added to my collection recently. Just a single shot here, so the hands are slightly out of focus. #Seiko #macro
Another gorgeous addition to the collection. The Grand #Seiko 6246-9001 from 1967. Bonus points for anyone who can tell me the lens that it’s sitting on, and double bonus points for anyone who can tell me what’s been done to the lens! #GrandSeiko #vintage #watch
I’ll come back to the vintage 57GS later. For now, here’s a set from another vintage #GrandSeiko that was added to the collection a few weeks back. With its recessed crown at 4 o’clock, the #62GS series was the first automatic Grand #Seiko. The crown is used to set the time, day, and date – this watch only winds the mainspring automatically.
