Stunning raised indices, along with the #Omega logo and text, the #Speedmaster Broad Arrow 1957 makes a fitting last post for my first – and final – #SpeedyTuesday of 2015! Hope you enjoyed these 9 watches, and thanks to @maxtor71 for sharing his collection.
Another one of my favourites from @maxtor71’s #Omega #Speedmaster collection – the Broad Arrow 1957. #SpeedyTuesday
Finishing off my marathon session of #SpeedyTuesday shots from @maxtor71’s collection is the Broad Arrow 1957.
And here’s the #macro crop of the running seconds sundial of the #Speedmaster Apollo 13 25th anniversary. One more #SpeedyTuesday set to come!
Limited to just 999 pieces, the #Omega #Speedmaster Apollo 13 25th anniversary. #SpeedyTuesday
So it’s now Wednesday in #Dubai, but we’ve still got time for two more #SpeedyTuesday sets from @maxtor71’s collection. Penultimately, here’s a #macro of the #Omega #Speedmaster Apollo 13 25th anniversary, launched in 1995.
That time I got the reflection of the chronograph seconds hand in focus, but not the hand itself. Oh well. Can’t get it right every time! @maxtor71’s gorgeous #Omega #Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon for #SpeedyTuesday. #macro #didnotquitenailit
The #Omega #Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon, or, as I like to call it after this brief introduction, the Mirror Side of the Moon! #SpeedyTuesday
So from a #Speedmaster that is very white, to one that is very black. Although this one does respond very interestingly depending on how it’s lit. @maxtor71’s #Omega #Speedmaster “Dark Side of the Moon” was running when I shot it so no chance to focus stack. Most of the other watches from his collection were stopped, so I was able to get everything in focus even at these crazy levels of magnification with 6 or so images. Look carefully at this set, and you’ll see how shallow the depth of field is in each shot. #SpeedyTuesday
A #SpeedyTuesday #macro from the #Speedmaster Alaska Project. See you in a couple of hours for the next installment!
